General Information

Gold Lake is situated high in the mountains where the air is thin and dry. Please drink plenty of water and avoid excessive consumption of alcohol to avoid dehydration.

Gold Lake's high altitude and sunny climate dramatically increases guests' chances of over-exposure to the sun. Please be sure to use appropriate sunscreen or cover.

Dramatic weather changes are the norm at this altitude. Please be prepared when venturing out on trails or into wilderness areas. Please always remember to bring an extra layer no matter the season.

Our beautiful lakeside hot pools are a wonderful addition to a stay any time of year. Gold Lake has an expansive campus in a beautiful natural setting.

Comfortable shoes and clothing allow you to move around easily on our gravel paths.

Please do not bring your pets. Use of Gold Lake's property is reserved for its human guests and the natural wildlife that abounds here.

Our fresh mountain air is an important aspect of many guests' visits. If you smoke, please refrain from doing so in any of our buildings' interiors or where it may have a negative impact on other guests' stays.



Resort Services Information

Front Desk:

This is the nerve center of Gold Lake, where everything is normally scheduled. Front Desk Staff can provide guests with the latest information and reservations for just about anything.


Restaurant:

A Hearty Continental Breakfast is included in the price of your room with all Lodging Packages and is available in the Main Lodge from 7:00 - 9:30 a.m.

Brunch is served from 11:00 am - 2:00 p.m. Saturday - Sunday

An elegant, three-course prix-fix dinner menu is served in the Main Lodge and available to outside guests from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

A seven course tasting menu is also an option.

Massage:

A wide variety of Spa services are available at Gold Lake. Reservations may be made at the Front Desk or at the Spa. Please give as much advance notice as possible to assure availability.



Spa:

All of our relaxing and rejuvenating spa treatments take place here, so please no children and no loud conversations between breakfast and dinner. Our changing and shower facilities are also located here.

 

Lakeside Hot Pools:

Available to guests 24 hrs. These pools have unisex changing tipis and minimal lighting. Guests are asked to please use the provided handrails and refrain from bringing alcohol or glass containers to the pools.



Sun Room:

This room is adjacent to the Main Dining room in the Lodge.  There is an assortment of snacks, games, and books for your enjoyment.
